We will not be given the opportunity to accept God’s gift of salvation after death. Our eternal destination is determined in our earthly lifetimes by our reception or rejection of Jesus Christ. “I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians ). Where do we go when we die? What happens to us after we breathe our last breath? These are questions that everyone has pondered. The world offers many answers to these questions: from reincarnation, to becoming a ghost, to ceasing to exist. Bible believers, however, don't have to engage in these guessing games because we can know the answers to the questions not only where did we .

I want to take a moment to convey what death and the world beyond meant back then. It may seem like a very esoteric place. If so, you can come back to it after reading the main body of the book.   Ellen Lloyd – – For as long as anyone can remember philosophers, scientists and religious men have pondered what happens after death.. Is there life after death, or do we just vanish into the great unknown? There is also a possibility there is no such thing as what we usually define as death.

Genesis After Adam lived years, then “he died.” The Soul is Not Immortal Job The Bible calls man mortal. Revelation "Every living soul died in the sea." Souls can die. Ezekiel God said, “The soul that sins, it shall die.” Again, the soul can die! Exodus “Seventy souls” went to Egypt. Souls are people. Life is a Bitch; then you die. In the popular novelist Tom Robbins included a version of the adage using the word “rough” in his book “Jitterbug Perfume”: 10 “Sorry. You know, my daddy used to say, ‘Life is rough, and then you die.'” “Bad attitude,” said Wiggs.
